Sweets and white flowers take the major part in the rituals of this devatha.

The next Yakshini devatha is Jaganmohini. She can make an unmake. She easily gets satisfied with the rituals and this wonderful angel blesses her devotees with a long lasting married life. She is also a female deity of twenty years old. She is in standing pose. She also loves sweets much. But she likes the fragrance of red flowers. Among all the sweets, she likes cooked sweet rice. The sweetener used to sweeten the rice should be sugar candy. The sweet rice should be garnished with cashews, dry grapes (raisins), almonds, and dates. The sweet rice and red fragrant flowers play the most vital role in the rituals. She makes the life of her devotee as the most fragrant and the sweetest one. The next is children related problems. There are different kinds of problems in getting children. The first problem is abortion or miscarriage. The fifth place is one’s horoscope is called as “Santhana Sthanam”. The place meant for the children. If the malefic planets occupy that fifth place it is called as “Santhana dosham or Putra dosham”. If the same place is occupied by the planets Raaghu or Kethu it is called as “Sarpa dosham”. The rituals vary according to the problems of the horoscope. If the fifth place is focused by the malefic planets it is called as “Putra pratibadha dosham”. The next problem is health. There is an old saying. “If wealth is lost nothing is lost. If health is lost something is lost and if the character is lost everything is lost”. The wealth, health and character are the most inter related terms. Swamiji used to say as “the more we start earning the wealth the lesser we can eat. The lesser we eat the thinking capacity will become weak. So it will lead to a lot of confusions. So eat well, sleep well think well and be well in all aspects of the life”. It is the true saying. The health is affected much by various kinds of ailments. The planets are the main reason for the health related problems. For example if the planet Mars is powerless in one’s horoscope it is sure that the person will be affected by the blood related troubles. If the Jupiter is powerless in one’s horoscope, it is very sure that the person will be affected by the pancreas, gall bladder and spleen related problems. The Veda has classified the health problems under three major categories. The first is Aadhi Aathmikam. The second is Aadhi Deivikam and the third is Aadhi bowthikam. After finding the route cause of the problem the proper deity is to be worshipped through the rituals. Lord Shiva in the form of Ashta buja Kaalari Moorthy and Andhakasura samhara Moorthy. In the shape of Ashtabuja Kaalari moorthy Lord Shiva is having eight hands. The deed and activities defined here, will be relating to the killing of Yama by Lord Shiva. The facets are in form of fighting and destructing is again and again explained here to come to a conclusion that there is a battle always between good and bad. If we examine the nature of demons, they lived a lawless life. They did not merit justice. So they were killed. Here the divine Yama a duty conscious authority is punished.

The Lord Shiva, a supreme power of all the worlds, planets and space. in the case of Markandeya, He Himself framed the law that Markandeya should be permitted to live up to sixteen years. When the parents of Markandeya begged the boon the Lord gave them two options. Lord Shiva’s first option was that a son to live a long but without knowledge and wisdom. The second option was to bless a son who could live only sixteen years but with profound knowledge. This boon at the final stage granted with the second option. Lord Shiva took the privilege to break his own law and saved Markandeya from Yama. At the same time he grants the boon to Markandeya to live upon this world always with the character of age of sixteen. Markandeya lives still. From this act we can find the deity Lord Shiva as most generous. Lord Shiva, in a war with Andhakasura, came out victoriously after killing him. He was a demon king. He was blind. Even then he behaved as an enemy to the divines and the devotees of Shiva. The troubles were unbearable and devotees at last, every body prayed Lord Shiva for their rescue. He appeared before demon with great anger. Andhakaasura with his skills of thantra fought with Lord Shiva. The weapons he employed were of the, qualities of great destruction. Lord Shiva did not permit and re attacked the demon with his Thirisoolam (sharp weapon with three edges) and killed him. Lord Shiva’s appearance with Andhakaasura is well exposed in this image. The activity of curbing down the demon gave great relief to the divines and devotees. In the human life several times they have to cross with enemies. The tortures of such kind will vanish. The good omen will intervene and thus the satisfaction and freedom will be reached to the devotees.

The next problem is Aashi Bowthikam. Even though the subject looks like minor it is a major one. A lot of subjects are to be analyzed with the horoscope. The next problem is Relationship. There are many kinds of relationships. Some are physical, some are social and some are economical and monetary related. The examples for physical relationships are parent and kid, husband and wife. Example for social relationship is the friendhip. The examples for economical and monetary related relationship are the relationship between a boss and subordinate, relationship between co-workers and the relationship between a customer and business organization. All the relationships are inter - related. The friction in one relationship will spoil all the other relationships. For example if a person is having the problem in the relationship with his wife, he will be always in an angry mood. If he is angry he cannot have a smooth relationship either with his subordinate, with his coworkers are his business clients. So he is in a worse position of losing his status in the community. So the relationship problem is considered as one of the most serious problems.

Half of the body is seen as male and the other half as female. The next devatha is Sankara Narayana Moorthy.There prevailed a doubt among the devotees of Lord Shiva and the devotees of Lord Maha Vishnu, on the universe, heaven, pathala-loga and everywhere. The doubt was relating to the leadership questioning the superiority between Lord Shiva and Lord Mahavishnu. The sages then went to Lord Shiva and wanted to have their doubt cleared. There is beautiful saying of Lord Shiva "Shivasya hrudhayam Vishnuhu -Vishnoscha hrudhayam Shivaha". This explains well that whom they think as Shiva is Vishnu and whom they believe as Vishnu is Shiva. Two imperial powers that exist in unity. The Thathva is also same “Hari and Shiva are one” looking to the affairs of universe and the zodiac, there occur the lot of problems and the remedies in which the two Deities are always involved for the welfare of earth, people, and divines. This is the net result whenever the deities do either destructions or constructions either individually or jointly. The joint-responsibility safe guards mankind and all the worlds. The next Yaksha devatha to develop the mental strength is Thripaadha Thri Moorthy. 'Ekham' is one. By having the proper mental strength one can have good relationship with all. The cup of blood shows the end that happens to the enemies of his devotees. This brave appearance is a guidance and support for the devotees. The Yakshini Devatha is Prathyangira Devi. She is the consort of Lord Shiva. She is also known as “Atharvana Badhrakali”. She has a very fearsome look. Even though she has a very fearsome look she is very sweet and soft to her devotees. The word “pasu” mans animal and the word “saapam” means curse. The next worse curse is “bootha Saapam”. The word Bootha means the elements of the world. If we disturb any of the basic elements, those elements curse the human. The third one is “pretha saapam’. The dead body of a human being is called as pretham. Terrible flames appear when she inhales or exhales air through her nostrils. Her vehicle is a donkey. Her raised right hand always seems to grant boons to all and sundry. Her right lower hand is in the pose of allaying fears. Her left upper hand holds a thorn-like weapon made of iron and in the lower left hand there is a dagger. The mother, Kalaratri destroys the wicked. Danava, Daitya, Raksasa, Bhuta, Preta and all other evil spirits are terrified and run away as soon as the devotee remembers Kalaratri. She is also the remover of all kinds of evil effects. Her worshipper has no fear from fire, water, wild beings, enemy or night. By her grace he always remains unmindful of any fear.
